Tekken Hybrid Limited Edition: Harada Reveals The Package Art and Contents

Tekken Hybrid for North America Release

Tekken Hybrid for Japan release
Katsuhiro Harada, producer of the renowned Tekken fighting game series, has just posted these package art as well as the contents of the upcoming Tekken Hybrid Limited Edition, which he revealed will be released in North America this coming November 22 and in Japan at December 1 exclusively for Playstation 3 (sorry XBOX360 fans). European and Asian release dates are not detailed as of the moment.

For those who don't know Tekken Hybrid, this will contain the Tekken Blood Vengeance movie and a remastered HD version of Tekken Tag Tournament 1, as well as Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue, which is a playable demo with 4 characters (Ling Xiaoyu, Alisa Boskonovitch, Devil Jin, and Devil Kazuya), all in 1 single bluray disc. The limited edition will contain the Tekken Hybrid disc, as well as several bonuses - 2 soundtrack CDs containing favorites soundtracks from TTT1 and TTT2, and artbook containing Tekken: Blood Vengeance production stills and character renders, and Tekken-themed avatars and PSN costumes for Playstation Home. Does it sound like a good deal for $59.99? You bet it does. However, if you're not much interested in the artbook, soundtrack CDs and PSN content then the regular version of Tekken Hybrid is for you which sells for only $39.99.

The Tekken Hybrid is said to be targeted to North American fans who will most likely not see a Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade release due to dying arcades especially in the US.

Here are some screenshots of the TTT2 prologue c/o iPLAYWINNER. Devil Kazuya and Devil Jin looks pretty freaky with their alternate costumes.

Here are some gameplay footage of TTT2 prologue. Not very outstanding, but at least you'll see how the gameplay looks like.

If you ask me, I really wanna get the movie and TTT2 prologue but I'm not really that interested with TTT1 HD as I've never really played it (I've started with Tekken 5 by the way). If this relives the old TTT1 hype then I might change my mind about it. As of now, I'm still not sure if I'm getting it. However, for old TTT1 fans out there, you'll surely love this deal.

You can now pre-order Tekken Hybrid Limited Edition via Amazon (I've already provided the links below). I still have to confirm if Datablitz and i-Tech will also offer pre-orders of this package though. I will update this post soon once confirmed.
