Philippines... Get Ready For Tekken Tag Tournament 2!

Just received good news last night that Timezone, one of the leading arcade chains here in the Philippines will acquire Tekken Tag Tournament 2 arcade cabinets this coming December.

No exact date of arrival yet but the first Timezone branches to have the game will be Trinoma, SM Megamall, and Glorietta 4 branches. As an additional note, the arcade cabinets will come completely connected to Tekken Net through internet. I'm guessing that it will also come with the Bana Passport System and the Live Monitor System. For those of you unfamiliar with the new system implemented for TTT2 arcade cabinets, watch the AOU trailer below:

I'm very glad of this news because the Tekken scene here has been experiencing a downturn lately, maybe because of the announcement of Tekken Tag Tournament 2. However, due to the TTT2 being connected to the internet, people are speculating that the initial price per game will be much higher than when Tekken 6 started. I certainly hope not.

As an added bonus, watch the latest TTT2 trailer below featuring the Tag Assault system for more hype.

Thanks to Edwin Rodriguez for leaking this information! To mingle with Filipino players just join our Facebook group P.U.T.O. (stands for Philippine United Tekken Organization).

UPDATE: Someone hinted that the Bana Pass card will cost Php800, which is 4 times more expensive than Tekken 6 data cards, but it's worth it considering you can save all of your characters' costumes, win-loss ratios, statistics, etc. Thanks to Adolf Lancer for this information!
